At Walsall Eyes, we are delighted to celebrate the wonderful efforts of one of our newest members, Paige Edwards, who has gone above and beyond in raising vital funds to support people living with sight loss in the Walsall Area.

Paige, alongside her family and the brilliant team at the Black Country Arms in Walsall Town Centre, organised a fantastic Easter Hamper Raffle in aid of Walsall Eyes. Over the past few weeks, Paige and her family worked tirelessly to sell raffle tickets, spreading the word and generating an incredible amount of support from the local community.

The raffle draw took place at the Black Country Arms on the evening of Good Friday, with some of our Directors and Members gathering to show their appreciation and enjoy some time together before the Bank Holiday weekend.

The winning ticket was held by John — congratulations to our lucky winner!

Thanks to Paige’s hard work and the generosity of everyone who bought a ticket, we raised £285! A wonderful amount that will directly help people with sight loss in Walsall. These funds could support someone to gain greater independence or enjoy a day out with the right help, making a real difference to lives where simple things like leaving the house can be a challenge.

On behalf of everyone at Walsall Eyes, a huge thank you to Paige, her family, Kim and the entire team at the Black Country Arms for your amazing support. Your kindness and effort mean the world to us.

Happy Easter to all!
